my folks just got home today from visiting in England and on the way home they were saying that marijuana was legal in England and that they saw quite a few people just sitting out in public smoking. I couldnt believe my ears. They had to have been mistaken, right? They said up to 1/2 oz was legal to have on you without being arrested.

Gordon Brown has been bein a little bitch recently about reclassifying marijuana back up to B or A instead of the class C it is. If I remember correctly though, the group that was commissioned to research and make a recommendation on reclassification of marijuana to a higher class said it was fine where it is.

Believe me, it is in noway legal! People do not smoke it all over the streets around here either, where the hell did they go? Are you sure they didn't go to Amsterdam mistakenly? lol.
I wish it were legal, theres a major drought around at the minute here in the UK and everything blows  .
England will never legalise weed either, get Obama to campaighn for it over here! lol. especially not with any present and possible future parties that are involved in government .

No my family is actually from England, but they are also old people so I knew there was a chance they were full of shit
