So I'm knocking the idea of upgrading around...my current setup is fairly stupid, but my budget is kinda tight as well so...
I'm getting a tent for sure. That much I know.
I currently have a 400w HPS that I'd like to use in the tent. I also have a 6 inch duct fan. I was wondering if my duct fan would be enough to ventilate the tent? Its going to be a 34x20x64 tent. The fan is one of those cheap metal ones, but damn it definitely does a good job in the room I have it in now.
My ballast will obviously be outside of the tent. I don't have an air cooled hood, and probably wouldn't be able to get one until later this year.
I don't mind if my tent is a bit hot for a while. I'm just asking if it'll catch fire because I really can't have that lol. My closet now is really really big but is definitely NOT as air-tight as the tent will be.
I dunno I feel like I'm babbling now lol.
Edit: Getting a second duct fan is certainly doable, but the cooled hood is just out of my price range for now. I know its not ideal, but its either grow in the tent with one fan or don't grow...and we all know not growing sucks ass.

Your dimensions are inches?
Thats a small tent...not even 2 foot width on a 400? Damn.
I use 400s in a 3x3 with no heat issues.
