I think its a whole ML of air that you'd have to shoot before it was enough to do damage. I always thought it was funny when junkies would spend so much time getting any air bubble out of the rig, but had no problem, re-using needles, not using alcohol pad on injection site, not using sterile water, not using a micron filter.... If your going to shoot up you might as well do it right..
IM isn't as fun as IV, you don't get a rush and the injection site is a little sore afterwards. But it's pretty ideal for MXE and ketamine when you want to put yourself into a nice hole.
It's also a little rush of its own right when you register and see the rig start filling up with blood.

It just terrifies me thinking about it. I hate hospitals. I was having a crazy panic attack when I had to have blood taken until I watched a 4 year old girl do it and not say a word.
