Harvest Time! first time need advice. ***UPDATE PICS!!!!***
    #674077 - 06/10/13 11:03 AM (10 years, 10 months ago)

Hey yall one of my plants has just developed the orange/brown hairs and I'd like to harvest with higher THC than CBD. I also don't want to kill my plants so I'd like to revert back to veg state after harvest. My plants are soil indoor plants. So how to I harvest without destroying the plant so I can revert back? Maybe just clip with a small scissors? Any advice helps. Thanks!
If pics are needed I can show off my girls :bigweed:

Check your trichomes.

sounds like you might harvest too early. brown pistils can show way before they're ready.

def need pictures.

just to reveg it all you need to do is leave some growth on it and not take it all off, then root prune it and put it back under a veg light cycle.

You need a couple more weeks, 2 minimum, but probably another 4.

If those hairs are turning fast you better start looking for a hermie plant or a neighbor who has male plants cause those are not even remotely close to being ready to harvest. I'd say mid July sometime. Harvest what you have in those pics now and you can look forward to maybe a huge two bowl harvest.

I hear ya. I remember when harvest was killer. Now it's a pain in ass when it's time to trim. :wink:

I know I could probably find the answer to this if I looked around but thought I would ask.

When a plant becomes herm or pollinated does it stop putting production into the bud formation? Does it just switch to seed and death mode? Does it only effect the hairs/cannabinoid development? If so I may have to change my stand point on leniency toward herming...

your plant will continue to bud but that wont be its main focus anymore, so you start to lose some potency and weight.
