Pressure canner vs pressure sterilizer

15 quart pressure canner = $199
15 quart pressure sterilizer = $399

What's the difference? I realize sterilizing grains isn't what we are after but do pressure sterilizers only sterilize?

Autoclave just have higher PSI.

Thats about it.

Edit: They are also electric so you don't need a stove.

So for 15psi you wouldn't need to go all out on an autoclave? A few of the ones I have seen still require a heat source.
