Check out what I found in my couch!

Greetings Growery! I have been a member of the Shroomery for some years, and since I love bud as well as shrooms, I thought I'd branch out. What better way to break the ice than a great story?
So last summer I lost my remote in my couch. I reached into the depths of the ancient hand me down reluctantly, finding all kinds of nasty stuff, but no remote. I began to get frustrated and dove my hand into the very bowels of the beast in hopes of gaining the lost lazy button panel. But my hand stops on something interesting. Odd, feels like a thin book of some sort. I swear I thought, "Wouldn't it be sweet if I pulled out some old High Times mag!"
Lo and behold....
A gyp even way back then...
The 80's were definitely in full swing, there is a huge article about "Synthecoke" which is basically the aroma and white powdery look of coke, sans coke.
In the article the author lays out an old scheme in an offhand way, combine this fake coke stuff with ephedrine sticking it together with lidocaine and presto! I can't help but wonder if the article was meant to boost sales of the 10 or 12 pages of ephedrine pill advertisements...
Spiny weak little eighties centerfolds.
In the era of hair bands .... I am thankful I was born late enough to miss most of this...
A sweet little comic and some drug prices/ descriptions from around the world caught my eye.
Overall I count myself very lucky, I found some buried gold while digging for the remote, it definitely made my afternoon that day. I hope I brightened some growerite(?)'s day as well! Be safe smokers, may legalization occur soon!

Haha right on dude! I've oddly never had a high times. I was gonna order skunk though. Hot chicks + bud? Yes please.
-------------------- Of course it's happening inside your head. Why should that mean it isn't real?

Lol, the couch is a hand me down! I found the magazine beneath the bottom part of the couch, i.e. beneath the beneath of the cushions (if that makes sense), so no I hadn't cleaned there (still haven't besides removing the magazine, lol). I actually also found another magazine from '84, some health mag, but it was uninteresting and very much damaged.

Yeah my comp is ancient, and I have no scanner, but I wish. It is super interesting. The magazine was much more oriented toward basically all drugs, just getting fucked up. Pretty smart to tone it down, the authors were quite irresponsible, lol.
