 Thinking about makin a box

So I had a serious ghetto rig of black plastic trash bags and lots of tape just to vent hot air out a window. The ducting and the venting was stealthy and could not be seen from outside but the trash bags on the window looked horrible from outside and i couldnt take it anymore, even though you couldnt see ducting anywhere in the window it was still making me beyond paranoid.
Last night I had the exahust blowing into the same room and I got a record temp of 90 degrees. Fuck that! If I dont take care of it today tonight will be just as hot.
So what I want to do is build a box frame to slip into and sit on the window seal.
here is a video of a guy doing the same thing Grow room setup video you can fastforward to 3:50 or just see the end result at like 4:40.
Who thinks this is a good idea? Im open to suggestions

I don't get it, won't there be a box visible from the outside? Kinda wierd
Maybe empty out an old ac, and use that?

Yeah they have a like a cloth screen or something in front of an even darker background which was all black.
Right now what's in my way is really expensive blinds in the window lol. I can't really just remove them so I'm thinking about a way around them.
For now I just shoved my ducting into an ac vent in the closet ( pretty small vent that cools the closet ) so at least the warm air is going somewhere else and the ac vent in the room connecting to the closet will have to cool the room plus the closet now. Hopefully no problems, lights come on in 4 hours
