Curing weed will not grind properly

Hi,
My buds are some what squishy still after 5 days of drying and 12 days of curing.
They will not grind into fine pieces, but rather into these noted chunks like things, that do not drop any trichomes.
Anyways, is my weed still too damp for it to be declared smokable?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, since this issue has been rattling in my brain for sometime.

Yeah, sounds like you could have went another day or so in the dry. If its too wet it can go bad reall easy in a jar.

The grinder is a good indicator of properly dry bud. If it doesn't grind right its not ready to cure. Its nice to have a nice grinder too.
If you like the way it smokes, its smokable, but it sounds like you need to throw them in some paper bags overnight, maybe two or three depending on room humidity. If the stem does not snap it is not dry. It makes a sound.
