cure underground in leaves
    #590469 -

i can remember back in the day i was reading about away that Jamaicans would dry(?)/cure. They would dig a hole 2-4 feet down and wrap the bud in banana(?)leaves. supposedly the heat and pressure from the earth made outstanding rock hard bud.
i remember reading it was possible to replicate this at home with a big fish tank of dirt.I'm thinking a garbage can TiT?

so anyway can anyone point me to a link or share any knowledge they know of this or related methods?
anyone try it?

Wrapping your weed and burying it won't do much but damage your weed IMHO.

As for the humidity, the humidity in a jar is supposed to be ideal for curing weed you want enough humidity to slow the drying process enough so the weed dries slowly and evenly leaving the ideal moisture content.

That^  and it sounds like what you'd like to do is not ideal.  like what they were doing (if all that's true) is a way to work around not having all the proper materials.  "Why fuck a girl with a dildo when you got a dick?"

This thread was moved from The Smoke Lounge.

Reason:
This is a question regarding a process in the cultivation cycle.

Its in the Caribbean. I don't think they have many other options if they want their shit to be dried/cured right. I've heard they have a lot of problems with that stuff down there.

Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?

so the general consensus is that they only did that because it was the only available option?

I thought it would be fun to try, maybe ill do something for the hell of it with a small plant.
im gonna look for some literature about it for curiosity sake.

i feel like the difference would be similar to powdered kiff and mechanically pressed and heated black hash.
