1. Are you growing from seed or clones? Seed 2. How old are your plants? 1 Month 3. How tall are your plants? a foot or more 4. What size containers are they planted in? Gallon 5. What is your soil mix? Soilless Mix of Coir, verm and perlite 6. How often do you water and what type of water and how much you give per watering? every time the soil is dry and Distilled water with organic earth juice nutes 7. What is the pH of your water? I don't have a pH meter yet. 8. What kind of fertilizer do you use and what is its NPK ratio? Earth Juice 9. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything? No 10. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights") MH, 400w with 2 CFL to supplement 11. How close are your lights to the plants? 12" away and about 2-4 inches away from the fluorescents. 12. What size is your grow space in square feet? a decent size closet 13. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space? 68-72 F 14. What is the pH of the soil? Unknown 15. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space? No 16. How much experience do you have growing? Grown outdoors twice and 1 Indoor grow previous.

Just train them man. You should never cut the leaves like that, they're your power house for the plant to grow. The less surface area of leaves you have, the less light they're converting to energy.

Search Low Stress Training and Topping. Those are the routes I would go as opposed to cutting fan leaves like that.
