Should I reduce light during flowering?
    #662545 -

Here is a question I would like to ask the experienced users.

I have a friend, who has a friend, who has a cousin, who has a buddy, you knows his next door neighbor, who has a buddy, that told his this following scenario, so we were in a debate about it so I thought I would ask the question here to get your feedback.,

The guy how is growing has two 1000 watt MH set up in a 10x10 room which are giving life energy to about 20 marijuana patch kids.

When they are about half way though fruiting, what are you thoughts of shutting down one of the lights and just lighting the last couple of weeks using only just the one 1000 watt light?

I wouldn't...If you can control the temp and everything I don't know why you would want to?

It is Vegging that allows for such flexibility...

I might add some UV light to my HPS setup, but I would remove nothing.

Good luck,

JD

More light helps your buds from becoming airy. But yea some different temp bulbs is a good idea but either way I wouldn't remove any lighting.

I run 1 during veg and 2 during flowering like guy up there said.
