input please
    #661804 -

So i am new and have a very tight budget and I'm in a apartment. This is where I'm at with it all. cabinet is 6 cubic foot. Lighting is 3 18 watt 2700k, 3 24 watt 6500k, going to hit them with a little of the UV-B at flowering. Carbon filters and loose carbon for smell, 2 air pumps to get oxygen in the the water for hydro, both have 2 outlets and will have 4 bubbler stones. im in to this with only $10 so far. So tell me what you think, if this grows and works thats a lot more money in my pocket to upgrade down the road.

                        thank you for your time

gota a few questions for ya....

how will you exchange the air in the grow cab?

whats your budget for nutrients?

how will you be checking the ph/ppms in your res?

Those were the three things that stuck out in my head.

I've seen some pretty bad ass pulls off grow cabs. If i were you I'd run a scrog to allow for a longer veg time. Give those plants a chance to give you a good yield.      :trees:

Welcome to the growery man!

I have 3 pc fans to exchange the air,  I am looking for the ppm and ph meters and will be getting one here in the next couple days. My budget for nutrients isnt that low. Whats the best for this set up? How long would you say to veg them for? Thanks again

have you calculated how many cubic feet is in your cab? (L x W x H)
this will tell you what size fan you will need to properly exchange the air.

There are endless options for nutes man. if i were you I'd  keep it simple with a basic 1 or 2 part grow/bloom nutrient.

just to name a few......

advanced nutrients
Botanicare
General Hydroponics
fox farm
bio bizz
house and garden

well you'd veg until your screen was full and then flip the lights.  IF you chose to go with a scrog.

What's the area? 6 cu ft seems like very little space unless its like 2 sq ft=< and in that case you have about 8" of plant, from sub level to a few inches below the lights.

The cabinet is 33'' X 30'' X 10.5''. Not sure where the placement of the screen is supposed to be. About how far from the plants? I know the box seems small, unfortunately this is as big as I can go.

That's not enough space though.
Think about how much vertical space the containers will take up. Also the bulbs are a few inches+ the few inches of distance from canopy. I don't think 4-6" of plant will suffice, unless maybe you don't veg and its a short strain.

Is this a stealth grow?

And you wont have enough room for them to just grow.  I don't understand how living in an apartment would mean that you can only have 30" of vertical height.

OP the problem is that the plant won't fit lol. I guess you could LST the craps out of it but it won't fit still, and it'll stress out. This, considering you use a small auto flower strain. Some are "designed" to be short...still not that short though

That's a 11" cabinet?

The plant would have to be like 5"
