So I am glad to see a lot of my post are still in the top of my list and still active.
I had a long journey and unfortunately fell off the wagon. For those who know me, you know my story.
But I am back and survived a long hard road to recovery. Herb is still kind to me, but opies are no longer a part of my life! Rehab was a bitch! And counciling was also hard. Work has been a struggle and almost lost my family due to my rash decisions. But I am here and plan to be here to help grow this site. You all have my word on that!

Let me explain opiates in a way I see it.....
It is like being seduced and having an affair with another woman. It starts out slow, with maybe a few enounters. Then you start to enjoy that dirty little tramp, so you start to see her more and more. Now your stuck! Because if you leave now she gonna make your life hell. So you continue, afraid of what might happen. Digging deeper into a hole you know eventually you have to crawl out of. Either you end this affair because u know it is not right or slowly watch what life you knew slip away. Even though you know you re going to have to deal with the consequences one way or the other. The seductress must be told its over and what ever hell she wants to cause for u, then so be it. So she does release hell on you. Makes u sicker then you have ever known, weaker then you have ever been. Always tempting you into tangling again. But after all the turmoil she caused you know that even one kiss would be enough to be seduced back into the arms of that beast.
I refer to it this way because, opiates are like the seductress. And the hell she releases is the dope sickness you feel. She is always on your mind and will always be there tempting.
I hope u all can understand this comparison ? A couple encounters may not get you in trouble, but hang with the seductress long enough and you will be in trouble!!!
