I live in the US, and have been tempted to order a good strain of seeds, however I was worried that this good potentially bring unwanted attention my way. Any advice?

You'll be fine. So many seeds are sent out on a daily basis its unbelievable.
You can always order by mail. And write on there for them to shred your papers after they ship. There are several sites that don't keep records anyway.

Back in the days when there were only a few of us growing then a package from Amsterdam may look a little funny. With all the states that have gone medical and two that have gone legal I'm willing to bet their not looking to hard for seed packages anymore.
Buuuuuuuuuuut the one thing you must keep in the back of your mind is doing shit in the mail is crossing into federal law. I've been under the lights since 1985 and this has not stopped me in anyway from ordering seeds many times since the mid 90s and never had a problem. One order was over 2400 dollars and the sender (Doc Chronic Seeds) went out of his way to send in several packages to be sure the whole order didn't get snagged. (every package made it)
