Update- I now have 16 days sober; and this time around sober includes not just not using dope but not using weed, alcohol, or anything else. While dope is really the only thing I want to stay completely free from long-term, it has been nice being clean from everything and having a clear head for once
I am going today to look at a couple places to live and hopefully get out of the halfway house. Not because I dont want to be there, because of the area and the long commute to and from work/school each day.
Anyways, hope everyone here is doing well and I will keep doing the thing. Work starts Wednesday and school starts Thursday, so the games are about to begin. Wish me luck.

We'll see. It certainly feels like it this time. My attitude and frame of mind is completely different than it has ever been
I am determined not to make the same mistakes as before.
The problem is, the other times I got "sober," I was still using spice, I was still smoking weed, and still getting drunk. So I wasnt even sober, I just wasnt high on heroin.
You're right, only time will tell but things are already getting much better.

Good to hear. Things have been a lot different for me recently as well. Not for drugs but depression. Its kind of a drug in itself if you have been struggling with it long enough. I just refuse to start thinking negatively now no matter the situation.

I have been moving around a lot these past weeks. From the house I was staying at to a detox center for 5 days, then downtown to a halfway house where I have been for just under 2 weeks. I am going to pick the rest of my stuff up here in a week when I get my new apartment. I will definitely make sure to get the stickers up when classes start. 60,000 students here we should be able to pull in some new members.
