Name says it all, I put a poll for all the sticker submissions in the Dome. So get in there and vote

I dont have reading comprehension skills to work on because I havent been reading the other threads that have to do with the sticker contest
I see your point about people making puppets but I dont think it'd be that big of an issue. I see that you are doing it since there is a cash prize involved so I guess it's a safe guard but I was thinking from the standpoint of making the poll available to a larger section of the community. A small portion of the community use the Dome but should be enough of a sample size to determine the best sticker

very solid. May I ask the mods what they plan on doing with them?? Will they be for

Well the original talk was to pass them out to the people posting on a regular basis around here. Maybe a nominal fee of some sort. At least to cover shipping costs. Haven't really got that far yet. I would hope after that next couple of contests and we have 3-4 REALLY solid designs, we can get them put up for sale through our store here at the growery and shroomery.
And Picklez, not butthurt. Just pointing out where ya need a little work buddy...

I was actually very impressed with a lot of the submissions
There was a really good turnout, I was so disappointed when the last attempt to do this failed.

All you guys who entered the Sticker design contest, you should enter our Design-a-tee Contest.
Many of the entries I see in the sticker design thread would work well as TShirt designs.
The winner gets a couple of free TShirts.

edit- Maybe you can talk to Geokills, but I think each person you send stickers to should have an "ID #" for referrals. That way we can track who is effectively recruiting people. Maybe even give some kind of prize's to people who bring in the most new members
What you think? The ID #'s could just be written on them so it doesnt affect the printing of the stickers or anything

Getting the word out so that we get new members and get more traffic, right? I am pretty sure that's the point. So the 2nd phase of this contest should be seeing which member(s) use these stickers to bring in more people.
Seems incomplete that we would have a 200$ contest for a sticker design used to hopefully bring more traffic, but yet offer no contest/incentive to the people who actually hit the streets, slap these stickers up some places, and actually bring in the traffic which in turn brings in more revenue for the site

Go for it man. Put the foot work in for it and donate the prizes like we did.
The stickers are costing more than I thought they would. So I'm not going to donate more money for another contest other than the sticker contests for the moment.

I myself don't like this idea.
It sounds to much like a pissing contest, or a mine's bigger than yours something of that nature.
This whole event was the community acting to build the community.
We should all be happy just watching the membership rise.
It was never about money, or who knows more people, or lives in a higher pupulated area.
We just want the community to grow, that alone should be enough reward.

You dont like the idea of giving a prize to a couple of members who go out and help bring more people into our community? more members= more traffic= more revenue
I am going to do it regardless of whether or not there is a contest but I thought it would be a cool way to provide incentive and reward to encourage everyone to try and participate in the recruiting.
Hawk- I already told Geo I would do all the work involved to make it happen. As for the prize, I would donate supporter accounts if I could, but that is something that doesnt cost the site anything and would make a very acceptable prize. Maybe the SWAG Store has some extra stuff too that they could donate (mousepad, shot glass, whatever)

I feel that if members are willing to buy the stickers, then they're willing to put out to be seen.
It was mentioned several times that they most likely wouldn't be free.
I see this ID number thing, the same way I saw the points system, and I'm not for either one, sorry.
