I just got a MH400wt light from hydro farm.
How for should i keep it off the plants ever one tells me something diffrent

Well it depends on how hot it is on the plants. That hood isn't cooled so I wouldn't have it any close than 2 feet depending on temps.

The light is about three ft away now and the temp is 76-84 and humity is like 54% Is that good? If it gets to hot how can i cool it down?

I have a oscillating fan on the all the time If it gets to hot ill put in ac In the winter all i did was open the window a little if it got to hot
