Put into flowering today.
    #621994 - 05/09/12 05:33 PM (11 years, 10 months ago)

So I put my next run of ladies into flowering today...

But I ran into a problem

I am flowering 4 plants that are all 3'6" - 4' tall...

Im in a 4x4 grow tent with a 1k watt hps...

I know I can tie them down but I have NOO IDEA how too?

What do I tie these ladies down too?  they are so much taller then the buckets they are in it would very difficult to bend them down enough to tie down to the bucket.

Also.. What kind of yield can I expect from these ladies?

One is Big Bud the other 3 are Super Silver Haze  all approx. 4ft tall and were in veg for about 3 months (started as a small clone).
Forgot to add this is a soil grow in FFOF

How much can i tie them down?  Can i literally tie them down as far as they go without breaking?  or go a little at a time?

I didnt realize they were going to be this tall in the tent O.o

Should I trim them a bit?

Tie them bitches down as far as they'll go! If you want to wait on flowering them for a bit, you might think about topping them to keep them from growing into the lights...

pics would really help us give you better advice though...

Trim nothing!! Plants dont like to be snipped once the light goes to 12H

you should have no problem bringing the branches down to floor level. Just watch your nodes where the stems come together, they will break there if anywhere.

awesome thanks guys...

Im going to just keep trying to tie them down as they go.. I got one baby with like 10 shoots of the same size looking very healthy so we will see how she does gettin tied down... I have her in the corner where she can grow up the walls to avoid as much heat as possible because shes pretty tall

What kind of yield can you expect out of 4 mothers being flowered at approx 4' tall under a 1000w hps?

Well, if you're doing thing right, you may be able to get 3-5 ounces per plant, but that's only if you've made sure to do everything right... How much experience/learning do you have?
