FIfth week: One day of 24/0 to stimulate bud growth?
    #620496 - 04/27/12 05:12 PM (11 years, 10 months ago)

Read this in the post "ScroG Bible". The author said that during the 5th week, one or two days of 24/0 photoperiod can boost bud development. Anyone got experience with this method?

LOL, wow.  That's some bullshit.  All that is going to do is stress your plant out and increase the risk of it throwing out male flowers.

and to ad to what Hawk said it may also send them into reverting shock. The plants don't know what is going on wether they should flower or veg so they go into shock and sit there for 3 weeks or so. I learned this the hard way back in 1989. I figured I'd cut the lights back to sex the plants then turn them back up again. I was able to sex the plants but they also went into shock and just sat there for (like I said earlier) 3 fucking weeks.
