40days veg and 24/0 1000w MH
soil temps are around 65* and room temp is 70*-75*
FF soil/nutes 2x a week

They're looking healthy man. 40 days is a little early for wanting to see sex. That's the problem with growing from seed, takes forever. Do you have plenty of air exchange in your grow area?

dude veg for as longgggg as you can, i vegged my plants i got now for almost 65 days lol. They showed pre-flower sex probably toward like the 60th day or so. Honestly your best bet is to just switch it to 12-12 to determine sex. They should show in a few days maybe a week at most. By the way what size pots are you growing in. Thats a huge factor in determining how big your plants will grow to. The general rule of thumb I've found in my research is roughly 1' per gallon. Although here is a cap 25 gallon pots are unlikely to grow 25' tall plants. But i'm in 3 gallon pots right now and all mine are between 3-4' or so. Definitely on the smaller end of the spectrum.

 my plants arent big enough to go 12/12 yet. 
I have 2 separate rooms, 1 for veg and 1 for flowering, my veg room stays 24/0 cus I have mother plants going and Id like my current grow to get to almost 2' tall b4 flowering so I can get a decent yield. that and the max height I can go is 4'
I have 5gal buckets of FFHF&OF soils.

yeah watch out because when you switch to flowering theyre gonna stretch like mutherfuckers ...you could do some low stress training...if you have the width try tying them down if they get to tall that will give you some better colas too

have you looked at/read any previous posts man? 
thats my issue, they are only like 8-9" tall after 40 days, theys short, well all but 2 of them and none are showing sex but I have time I guess...

AC doesn't equate to a lot of fresh air exchange. You need to put in an exhaust and intake to get plenty of fresh co2 for them to feed off of.
Be careful letting them get to 2 feet tall before flowering man. Some strains can stretch 3-4x the size they were before going into flowering.

wel I have 4 clones from my biggest plant and 2 from the next biggest that have grown roots in the bubble cloner so Im going to put them into flowering to force them to show, so at least Ill know if its worth wasting my FF nutes on the big plants or not. I just dont like the idea of feeding potential males thats why its buggin me so much..

you really don't need to even be feeding during veg man. EVERY medicinal grower I know, including a colab of guys who get 2.5 pounds plant, stick to a strict no nutes for the first 30 days policy.

they'll only start feeding after 30 days so they will end up only feeding for like 2-3 weeks of veg
