dont but the shitty heavy ass square ebay ballasts 
ordered it 22 days ago, used it for 2 weeks, sparks/fire 
hope the manufacturer warranty covers faulty crap.

Who made that one?? Looks like a sunlight supply, same as I run, and have been running for over 6-7 years. Just don't buy off of ebay.

you can say that again, what if I hadnt been in the room when it happened, it would have caught my house of fire for sure. sparks like the 4th of july were shooting out at least 3' b4 I could unhook it to stop the short.

so how long can a seedling stay in seed starter mix b4 having to be put into real soil?
oh and by the way, seed starter mix is better for casing mushrooms then it is for seeds/seedlings..

I'd wait a touch longer , at least a week at a minimum from first set of true leaves.

k, got a "what would you do" thing for you guys..
for my weed grow I planned on using fox farm soil (because its good/recommended/proven/organic/for weed) and get 3 bags 2sq ft bags of happy frog soil and 1 1.5sq ft bag of ocean forest. the happy frog is 20.99 a bag and the ocean forest bag is 18.99 a bag.
heres my thang... god damn Miracle Grow garden soil is 3 bags for $10
is Miracle Grow worth the financial trade off or should I go for the specialized organic soils..
