soil level is too low...

im gonna add some fox farms to my pots to get the soil level up. would it be a good idea to scrape and put clonex on the exposed stem thats gonna be buried. would roots develop in the next couple weeks that would benefit the plants during their last 30 days in flower?

If your already that far into flower your plant isn't going to grow more roots.
