 UV bulbs in grow room????????

I've read that the purpose of the resin/stickyness of cannabis is to protect the seeds from UV radiation which would cause mutations. Large agriculture companies test genetics in rooms with revolving tables so each test plant gets the same amount of light. They use light spectrum lights, not sure what kind, fluourescent or hps, w/e it is im sure its the equivlant of lumens that reach the ground outside, however, they also have UV bulbs in the rooms.
Does adding UV rays in grow rooms increase production/yield? Haven't seen much on this topic round the net

I wouldn't THINK it would. I have never heard this. Resin is produced to catch the pollen from male plants. The longer they go without catching pollen the more resin they try to produce in sexual desperation.

ahhh... perhaps it was just the THC molecule itself, or at least I'm pretty sure it was a specific CBN... im an asshole for not posting source, it was quite some time ago, it may have been a journal of some sort. I'll try to find it later
