Im doing this on my phone so im sorry if I forget to mention something. Soil Clones Week 2 flowering, vegged for 7 days, 12"in tall FFOF soil, GH Maxi siries nutes, just started adding liquid karma. Rh 40-50, temps 70-75 at night; 80-90 daytime (inline fan broke down a few days ago) 400 watt hps, 2ft away from tops (after fan failure) Ph is 7
All 3 clones started paling, and stems turned red. I thought it was N deff, so I added 1/4 dose of veg nutes (maxigrow) to the usual 1/2 dose maxibloom. I also added liquid karma for the first time (1 teaspoon to a gallon). The next day, the paling got worse and upper leafs curled in (taco'd). Also, the bottom fan leafs' veins remain green while the rest of the plant yellows. I know having a ph of 7 can cause lockout, but I have no ph down atm, so I will buffer w/ vinegar (use water ph'd to 6 or 5.5?) untill the runoff is 6.5. Please stop me if this isnt a good idea..
try flushing out the soil the leaves should turn pale due to lack of nitrogen in feeding, give you plants a light dose of balanced nutrients a few days later, are you using cal-mag if not start. don't put vinegar on your plants get ph down its cheap. also put a fan blowing on the plants they need circulation too. be patient it wouln't fix itself over night.

I dont see how it can be salt buildup, this happened after their second flowering feeding (i flush b4 flowering). Its actually a pretty clear Mag defficiency now, top leafs match the symthoms perfectly.
Quote: stayinghigh said: I also learned that red veins is also due to low night temp… look on wire5 threads.
'been watching that thread:) however thats not why I have red stems. My temps are too high if anything, even at night.
