I'm just got a call back from McDonalds... dear god why did they have to be the ones to call me back?!

At least, if you accept the job, when you will be looking for another one later, it really gives a good impression to have worked in a Mc Donalds (well at least here) because of how strict the job is, I have a friend who got a gov. job just because of that...

Because me and my GF are so low on money if it wasn't for my parents sending us money to help with rent we would be homeless and she would have to quit college?
My plan is to stick with whatever job I get out here as long as I can, I almost made manager at PH in like 6 months. I'm fairly certain I can do another short order job just as well, plus I have training with inventory counts and doing truck (just not McDonald's style).

I hear that, my GF actually made the comment "if you don't find a job you better start finding people to sell weed too."
And that's coming from someone that doesn't smoke.

I loved workin at mcdicks after high school. I worked the night shift with a bunch of stoners.
Our manager would let go "crush boxes", which ment get stoned  , a few times during our shift . We used to buy pre rolled joints off the manager. we also would eat all shift, making weird burgers and eating them. And we used to make dares like " ill pay $5 to eat a nugget soaked in grill grease"... great times (he ate it). One time i drank half a small cup of pure sprite syrup for $22.
We even used to smoke weed in the cooler when the evening staff left.
Then we got a super strict manager. she fired a kid for eating a nugget  . She alwasys asked us if we felt alright when we were high, so it started to suck ....So i quit.
If you like the people i work with then it doesnt seem like work at all

looking for a job is such a stupid task. I've been unemployed since early June. I applied for a few insurance jobs and didn't get anywhere with that and just stopped looking at those after I had an interview for an insurance job well below my skill level and didn't get that, so i lost hope with that bullshit. now im starting to apply to receptionist / administrative office job positions. ive lost motivation to work for another huge corporation. I just want a job that'll pay like $12 an hour or so. I've reduced some expenses now. Sold my 46" lcd sony tv, guitar, and a whole bunch of other shit to pay my rent and bills. I have to sell my jeep this week so i can use that money for rent. ahhhh, gotta love life!
