what causes ph to rise? the water in my hydro system is RO filtered water, but after a couple of days the ph will go up like 1-1.5. whats the deal

Before or after topping off your res?
Does the ppm rise as well?

Doew it correct itself after topping off?
If not what's the ph of the water you're using to top off with.

I use water with ph of 5 to top off. That will get me back to about 6.1, then a couple days later it will be back up around 7.
