I loaned one of my friends my mother plant for Sweetest Cindy which is like a $500 plant when you consider how much the seeds cost plus the flowering runs it took to choose the best genetics. I told him to take clones and flower the clones so that I don't lose the genetics, but today I called him and he said "Oh well I switched it to 12/12 like 3 weeks ago because I figured that one plant was so big, why waste time taking clones?"
How fucking stupid can some people be? I'm gonna confiscate that entire harvest.

That's the problem, the "payment" was that he would let me take some clones for my private stock to keep the genetics alive and he could do whatever he wanted with the rest of them. So in this case there was no such thing as payment up front, he's just a dickweed.

And you could always TRY to clone...who knows, it might throw some roots if you get lucky

Yeah, I've never done it myself...but every day I sit here I want to kick my own ass for not trying. I doubt I'll ever find a plant like that again...and it makes me so sad
