 Smoking McKenna Style

Terence McKenna was a heavy daily smoker for most of his life. He stopped for a little while in order to please his then wife so they could work through some issue in their marriage. But, Terence said that he thought the "best way to smoke cannabis" is not everyday as he does, but once a week.
Terence believed that smoking cannabis once a week in very large amounts, in total darnkess, by yourself was the best way to efficintely use cannabis.
I've never done this, but I think it would be interesting to take a tolerance break for a week and smoke all the weed I saved that week in one night McKenna style.

I've done it before. The other night i had a low tolerance.
I was sort of depressed so i took the remaining gram i had and just did bong hits until all i could do was lay down in the darkness of my room while having my headphones play ambient.
I Laid there with my eyes open, and saw the sun come up through my window above me.

I smoke once or twice a week and find it suits me best. Any more and it really messes me up, mental fog and stuff, Im pretty much useless.

I smoke all the time, however, I think it's best to span it out at
least a few days a week. Tolerance is the issue, and the higher the tolerance, the
less money you have. (Even if you grow it, you still have to pay for soil, nutes, lights, electricity, etc.)
Another benefit from smoking weekly instead of daily is the fact that the experience is
that much richer. I smoke daily, and I have no problems with making A's in college, and I
don't feel foggy whatsoever, but that's just me. And I'm sure the same applies
to others as well.
It's lame having to smoke at least 5 bowls just to get high.

I smoked a blunt in my tent the other day at night time and I'm pretty sure I almost died from hotboxing. I laid down because I couldn't sit up anymore and I knew if I didn't sit up and unzip the window I was probably going to be dead.

In the book im currently reading called Weekends at Bellevue (which is pretty cool) the author mentions smoking a joint with t mckenna. 
i think id rather trip in this fashion that smoke a joint. If I did it his way I would just fall asleep, i mean shit, i do this every night.

My god I did the same thing the night you posted this. fuck man, it was actually just hours before you posted this. five of us in a tent that a single person can't even lay flat in. i love camping.
