To people who really appreciate jazz the fact that some of the greatest jazz artists ever were high as fuck is proof enough that we're not dealing with a devil weed

i would like to see updated tax revenues from only 2% of a state's population. thats what they say the rate is here also in colorado.
as unfortunate as it may seem, i think that monetary value may be the key to legalization. government officials dont respond to what the people want, its more like what can they get out of it and if we can show a significant value with an insignificant amount of people thus far, i think thats where we can put a chink in the armor.

I don't know, it is fairly evident to everyone that marijuana is a cash crop, but there is still no way it will be legalized. It is, at it's core, a social issue.

But like nearly all social issues the majority of people who have strong negative feelings about it are approaching their half-life.

The political climate is still too messy, and its only getting worse.

The entropy of an isolated system always increases or remains constant - or at least appears to

I'm just waiting for the day it's complexity renders it useless.

It doesn't mention that marijuana can help fight cancer cells. But still very awesome.

Neat infographic! I was discussing the legality of cannabis in california with some friends here. They had all been pretty adamant that they didn't want to get into the system and get a medical card. I moved out here and did that first thing. They saw alll the awesome and cheap weed I was getting and the free stuff too and decided to get a card too. They love it! But on top of what i just said it's legal too. So the cops don't harass anyone out here for it. I went to a buckethead show in san fran and between the opener and BH everyone went outside and smoked herb. I mean everyone i saw had a joint or a pipe. it was unreal for this kansas boy.
Then we got talking last night again about all this. These dispensaries are 501(c)3 organizations which means they are non profit. So we were wondering if our weed purchases are also tax deductible, since it's going toward a non profit? if so i will start saving receipts.
Oh, but the bottom line of our discussion was that weed IS legal here for the most part. i should have moved to cali years ago.

yeah it's pretty cool that weed is smoked so casually here in california. a few weeks ago on the night before my bday, a few of us in the bar smoked several joints. random people kept giving me weed to roll up, it was awesome.

Nah, it's not a 'charitable contribution' if you're buying something (unless you're paying significantly more than it's worth).
