 So I got this car I need to off.........

So I got this old toyota camry that I want to dump and call in stolen. Give me a excuse to get a car to take it's place (although I don't need it since the toyota isn't getting used anyway). Pretty much just give me a reason to get a hybrid for going to the gardens in the southern part of the state which is a 450 mile drive.
I'm thinking of just putting the spare key in it and parking it in a bad part of Oakland or San Fran and letting nature take it's course.
Car has no problems and runs fine. I just need to be able to call it in stolen anybody have any ideas on getting rid of it? I'll leave it in San Fran and call it in stolen from Sacramento just to be sure it stays stolen.

if they find it and find that the key was in it or around it the insurance company wont let you claim it. its a "your fault dummy" clause. so be careful with that.

If you don't HAVE to report it stolen, I know guys will come tow it away and give you $300 bucks.

find a sketchy scrap yard, smoke the dude out, then ask him if they can crush and recycle the car with no records of it
some might even pay for it

Get someone to drive it to Mexico.
Go to the mall shopping for 2 or 3 hours.
Get a key made so you have both keys.Leave one at home.
Let driver have head start.
Go to parked car to go home.
Oh no mom, somebody call the cops.
Officer I parked it right here.
it was never seen again, insurance payees after being PITA, maybe something like low jack on other insured cars.

Well technically I wouldn't be lying. Free country and if I want to leave the key in the car I'm free to do so. I just want the car to disappear I'm not looking to collect a cent on it.

I like your original Idea of just parking it in a bad neighborhood, hell I'd probably just leave it running and with the door wide open

I still dont understand why you need to report it stolen and cant just sell it or give it away. Must be something more behind this story.

if you don't rly wanna make a cent from it, park in a secret place with keys around, then tell us the location, and the first one to see it get it 
Btw i'm not from usa so i have no intention to do that lol
