Mushroom Help!

Im about to score some Mushies on Monday,(it is Friday right now so in 3 days).Now I am not sure if they are going to be fresh when i get them or dried,so my question is this.If they are dried what is the best way to store them (Because im going to be saving them to sell some to my friends).I need to know both of the ways.How do i store them if they are fresh?And how do i do it the best for when they are dried?

Im trying to(If they are fresh) to keep them as fresh as possible for as long as possible.

if they are fresh put em in the fridge
if dry put em in a jar in a droor

thank you Coast.Yea i was assuming the fridge,cuz its dark and cold.And i guess same thing for the dried,only i thought maybe someone would say keep em in an airtight container or something.

put them in ziplock baggies if theyre dry. keep in a cool dry place and they will last for a long time.

also there is a place called  The Shroomery you might want to check out.

if they're absolutely cracker dry then put them in the freezer.  If they're not dry then I would take the time to dry them out or make tea and freeze the tea.

There's only a minor difference in potency between wet and dried shrooms.  Wet ones taste like shit, that's why most people like to dry them out first.

I can eat and keep fresh mushies down much easier than dried. Its more the texture of dried mushrooms than anything I have to powder them down usually.

lol judging by the way you type it seems to me you're the one who's retarded.  How was it dumb advise?  For storage drying them is best and potency loss is nearly unnoticed.    But sure ignore the other people who agree with me.

Also all those who have said fresh is better have noted the taste not differences in potency.

w/e man,if they come fresh im gonna fridge em,if dry im gonna jar em,like Coast originally said.

And yes if im goin gto eat them im not only going to want them to be most potent,im going to want them to be tastier,and id rather eat something that tastes fresh and maybe a little weird then year old graham crackers.
