Hard to tell with wild mushies since potency can vary drastically but I would expect a pretty weak trip off 10 grams of fresh mushies. I think 17 would be a better dose and that still seems on the low-moderate side

I like to fast the day of my trip. The less in the stomach, the cleaner the trip (less stomach irritation and heavy trip)

I'm just getting them ready to munch on. I had a burger around 3, and a little snack at 5 and that's about it for food.

So these should start kicking in in about 30-40 minutes, right?

sounds about right

ive had doses hit me within 20 minutes and ive had them take as long as an hour to really get going

all depends on your stomach and how quickly they start to absorb

If you have a coffee grinder, I like to grind them down to a powder and mix into orange juice for quicker absorption

Cant stand the taste or the texture, but ive dosed shrooms at least 40-50 times

As soon as I know I am going to dose, I start dreading it.

I think they taste like normal store bought mushrooms... I don't like mushrooms
but I can suffer down a couple of grams dry but fresh mushrooms would be out of the question

How much does the taste differ with dry shrooms?

I don't know that it does it's the fresh mushroom texture I can't get passed.

But I can tell you naturally grown taste different from home grown.
I've had groups of people tell me my mushrooms were the best tasting shrooms they have ever had

awesome dude.. and fresh mushrooms are the BEST if you can grow them do it that way save money plus freshly picked ones are much much more potent and taste better put some honey on em and some lemon juice or orange juice with it cuz that acts like a MAOI making the trip much stronger.

i love shrooms but they can get crazy at times

If I picked a bunch of fresh shrooms, and put them in a jar. After a few days would they still be considered fresh, or would they been considered dried?

And how can you tell when your mushrooms are fully dried?

The best thing to do is to put them in a paper bag. And they won't be dry until theres no moisture in them. Putting them in a jar or paper bag for a few days will not make them dry. And they will get moldy if not eaten quick enough.

Depends on the size of em. IIRC liberty caps are pretty thin, right? I'm not sure because I've always had my own shrooms when I was tripping.

But you'll know they're dry when you bend them and they snap like a twig. Powderize them for easier storage.

yeah dude paper bag in the fridge they will last 1 week... putting in a jar will cause mold..

my cubensis take a few days to dry under a constant fan.. if you want to store them for months yeah drying them is best but make sure they are craker dry then put em in a ziplock bag in the fridge they will last a couple years... and retain potency however remember they will not be as potent as fresh mushrooms..

after my first bad trip (off 7g dried) it took nearly a year before I touched them again.

but most of the veteran trippers agree that you learn more from the bad trips than the good.
there is nothing wrong with taking an extended break but don't let one bad experience scare you away forever.
just start off with very low doses and work your way back up

But the thing is, it's not even the trip itself that scared me. It was the feeling in my neck that started the bad trip, and I've had it the last two times I've tripped. I'd prefer dealing with all the problems i'm confronted with during the bad trip than having to deal with that one feeling in my neck again, because it intensified into so much more. The shrooms intensified that feeling so much that it was unbearable.

I literally didn't know how I was going to make it through the trip if that feeling didn't go away, and that's what sent me into a downward spiral.
