I'm thinking about going to bed around 11, getting up at like 4am and taking the shrooms then so I can start to come down while the sun rises

Yeah I'm very surprised how many of them I found.
17g both days. First time luck, I guess

The next time I trip I'm going to be so nervous.
All I'm going to be thinking about coming up is if I'll get that feeling in my neck again and if it will turn into a bad trip.

after my first bad trip (off 7g dried) it took nearly a year before I touched them again.
but most of the veteran trippers agree that you learn more from the bad trips than the good.
there is nothing wrong with taking an extended break but don't let one bad experience scare you away forever.
just start off with very low doses and work your way back up

But the thing is, it's not even the trip itself that scared me. It was the feeling in my neck that started the bad trip, and I've had it the last two times I've tripped. I'd prefer dealing with all the problems i'm confronted with during the bad trip than having to deal with that one feeling in my neck again, because it intensified into so much more. The shrooms intensified that feeling so much that it was unbearable.
I literally didn't know how I was going to make it through the trip if that feeling didn't go away, and that's what sent me into a downward spiral.
