Today was a pretty sweet day. My family had a garage sale (so 3 house sale) and I just chilled outside getting drunk all day talking to strangers and peddling my warez.
I wish weed was legal cause I have some glass to sell thats not clean and my mom would beat my ass if I put some bongs out in the sale lol.
I sold my bike in the last 15 minutes for $35. Getting a new bike soon so no biggie.

Nice man. I went into a bike shop here in North Carolina yesterday and I was checking out this old 1970's frame; it needed paint, but was in good condition otherwise. I've been thinking about building a bike lately so I asked the owner how much he wanted for it. He asked me where I was from, and I told him "Phoenix" so he said "Let's work something out."
He spends a second writing what I assume to be a dollar amount on the back of one of his business cards, but when he hands it to me it just says "large T". I looked up at him like "wtf does this mean?" and he says: "Just send me a large T-shirt from a bike shop in Phoenix, and you can have that bike frame."!!!

I dig that ride, but I only ride with drop bars, straight handlebars have always felt weird to me.
The thing is definitely a single gear, and it looks like its on a flip-flop hub (can't really tell, but that's what it looks like), which means that it can be either single gear free wheel (where you can coast) or fixed gear (where you can't).

Oh god fixies are so funny.
My bro had one, and I watched some fucking crackhead jump on it to try to steal it at the gas station. I was gonna chase his ass down, but I figured instead I'd sit back and watch. Sure enough about 30 seconds later he broke his face on the pavement and I walked over and took it back

I'm in NC as an insurance adjuster, probly not here much longer as there are claims now in Knoxville, but I'd like to meet up with a member or two before I leave.
Also: Fixed gear bikes have a single cog on the rear tire that is "fixed" to the axle with a locking ring. Because of that, the wheel turns at the same rate as the crank, so its fast. The downside is that if the bike is in motion, the pedals keep turning...you can't coast.
Single gear free wheel bikes have a floating cog so that you can pedal, but you can also coast without the pedals turning.
