Is drying in 3 and a 1/2 days too fast?

I cut off a few tester branches from my girl to test my smoke, and it dried rather quicker then I thought it would take. Places on the internet say to do it over a 7 - 14 day period before curing but this morning I went into my grow room to find that the stems snapped pretty clean (still attached, but just barely).

The humidity is around 25% - 40% and the temps are mid 70s to low 80s. I live in Southern California so I'm sure its not going to take a full 2 weeks to dry, but am I loosing any potency by how fast these are drying? I smoked a small nug and it burned pretty nicely (not too fast, not too slow, with gray ash).

mine also dries in the same amount and I have had no problems I cut as much of the stem off as i can so I think that is why I get it to dry faster, and I'm running the A/C in the house and that will make a big difference, remember the A/C removes moisture from the air, usually a quick dry will impart a harsh green taste to it but I usually don't get that, even when I don't flush very well. Once dry put it in a jar on a dark cool shelf to cure a little. I to worried about drying time but how will you slow it down and bye doing this is bud mold really something you want to deal with, I'm a big fan of go with whats working for you.

Awesome, very comforting knowing that some else's bud is drying at about the same rate as mine.
