So I signed up to this dating website

...because I'm too antisocial to actually get off my ass and look in the real world for pussy:smirk:
And it's been less than a week and I forgot I actually signed up to the damn place until I got an email yesterday from an interested girl..I'm thinking wow, that was easy.

Thing is, she's quite large. And I don't find fat particularly attractive,but I'm not the shallow type so I'm gonna give this a try still anyway.

But I haven't actually made any effort yet to look and pm people myself which is pathetic I know.

So what would growery do? Opt for the easy option and take this larger than life gal on a date? Or give desperate tri-harding a go? Anyone try dating sites? Had any luck?

Oh and there's this section which asks if you do drugs...I obviously entered 'No.' (for obvious reasons  :cop:) turns out the majority of girls on there are massively opposed to drug use :facepalm: but alcohol and cigarettes aren't apparently 'drugs' and thus, are acceptable :tongue: duhhh

I tried a dating website once after a friend of mine had met his gf on there (he's a ginger) but after looking around it 70% of the girls were fattys. I cant even talk to fat girls, they are repulsive to me. I also noticed an unusual amount of lesbians, dont know if you have noticed that or not.

I will talk shit now, but I am sure there will come a day, after college or something when I get desperate and have to resort to a dating website :tongue:

I don't think they're as bad as what you're saying KP, I mean not everyone on there is bad looking :shrug: and it makes things a lot easier for lazy peeps like myself who have had in the past just a handful of gf's and are inexperienced with chatting up wimminz :rolleyes: I still totally get what your saying...suppose it's different strokes for different folks.

I didn't even consider it until someone at work told me she had loads of luck using it, she literally had a different man every week! So I just guessed that if it was that effective, why not give it a bash? I'm not into the whole 'clubbing' scene anyway & don't frequent enough house parties to actually have a chance (maybe because they're so rare). But trust me, if I had the opportunity to meet a girl irl, I'd take that any day over internet.

What site are you using? If I ever did try it again I would use that eHarmony. That one appears to be the most adult oriented.

The one I was talking about is okcupid. Very trashy.

I hate those sites. The men on there are so...ugh. And usually the girls are sluts. But the legit ones like eharmony, that cost :money: are, well, legit. But I dont need dating sites, id rather just talk in person :shrug:

As far as your problem, how fat is fat? Id go for it if shes proportional. How tall? Pretty face? Most importantly, is she nice? Does she have a good personality? There are a lot of thing that outshine a subjectively unattracrive appearance.

i disagree. like, kinda big boned with some chub is one thing.

But seriously, I've been curious about dating sites. I don't have any problems meeting girls in real life, but there are so many idiots and sluts to sort through before you find a nice girl with some common interests it gets fucking old. I'd like to try something like eHarmony or Match.com just to see if they could take some of the bullshit out of the mix. Maybe when I'm feeling ready to settle down it would be a ncie way to find someone who's a great match for me, ya know?

Thanks, but it wasn't really even a conscious decision. I just worked my ass off so much that eating and getting high became secondary and third tier functions of getting paid.

I already miss those days, I hope for many more to come.

No offense but you obviously weren't doing it correctly. You may have been working out ineffectively, or just thought your diet was proper without correctly aligning all your macros. if you just dropped below 200 by doing nothing but not eating as much then you obviously were sort of half-assing the diet and exercise earlier.

I was in better shape at 215 than sub 200. The only reason I think I went below 200 is because of muscle atrophy.

I'll also add I was on a high caloric diet when I was working out, ~40% of my calories came from protein, ~25% from fat, and ~35% carbs in excess of 2200 a day.

By in shape I should have specified body building vs aerobic training.

That is an important distinction, but if I were you I would have cut that fat % down to about 10 or less and reduce carbs as well. If you're trying to build muscle and burn fat then you don't need that sort of fat intake from your diet unless you're attempting Ketogenesis (which is actually something you might want to look into... pretty neat).

How tall are you?

I'm 6'1" so I'm no twig boy. I don't know if my frame would allow me to get much below 190.

I'll admit my diet wasn't perfect for either goal, but I did feel and look good which was my purpose from the beginning.
