Well it's getting about that time where we finally are getting a large enough userbase and enough "veterans," where we should develop an invite-only forum.
I purpose that it work similar to Shroomery's Veteran forum but with some cool features.
I think it would be awesome to have it work similar to the Hall of Fame for sports and music. Where you have a certain number of people who are inducted each year.
I would have it start off with 10 members. These initial members would be voted on by the community. But certain parameters would have to be met, mainly length of membership. Then other stats such as Trade Ratings and General Ratings could factor in
Then after the initial year, the members of the new forum would hold a vote around Christmas time and up to 10 new members would be invited each year
It would be a no rules forum, with the exception that no illegal discussion take place.
What do you guys think?

it's not illegal to discuss how to grow marijuana
I am talking about the usual things that are restricted, such as sources being posted. and child pornography

If not, I am also putting thought into hosting it completely separate from the Growery so that we would be able to discuss ANYTHING without moderators and limitations.

I have already thought a bit more about that. 10 a year is far too little, but maybe 10-15 every 6 months
It really isnt going to be a forum for discussion, but more a forum for information sharing

I think maybe both. A vet forum here would be nice, but access limited to duration of registration. And then KP can go start his own whatever wherever and whenever he wants.

For now, until the site grows.
There are already people in there that dont really belong. Maybe upping the requirements is in order, but that takes away from the fun. it's a tough balance without making a new forum, imo
