Octopuses have 9 brains, one main one, and one at the beginning of each arms. They are smarter than dolphins and they will totally rule the world one day, they can go out of water to get food and than go back into water.

I didn't mean to imply that you weren't correct
the video explains there are 3 correct plurals
it's just one of those things that make English extremely difficult
and even those who do speak it don't know which is correct

and I love getting odd looks when I use octopodes

No I had a in depth conversation at work about this so I had to look it up. I initially was joking and thought it would be clitorpodes, to follow suit of the octopus, but no it was clitorides.  So hot.

We always wake up with one almost, well I do maybe you don't when you are older.

I think I remember my dad joking about that before to enjoy it while you have it.

I always thought we had one long one kinda which explains why it's there when we wake up.
