I don't know what your prior experience is with psychedelics, but have no fear, go with the flow and become immersed. Just be ready, I feel it pretty much instantly, as I'm inhaling the hit my consciousness & the world around me starts to shift.
In my opinion, and experience, DMT is one of the most peaceful & euphoric psychedelics outs there. Though it can get very intense at times, it has such a peaceful vibe to it, I always feel content. And the after glow that lasts for quite some time after is one of my favorites.
I highly suggest doing it in a dimly lit room, with complete silence, eyes closed, laying on a bed. I've tried it with music a few times, and I can't stand it, less distractions the better. Sure the open eye visuals are very pronounced and interesting, but having eyes closed while relaxing is the way to go, trust me  ...
As cliche' as it sounds, the words I would use to describe it are; buzzing, vibrations, dimensional splitting, and coming home.

Ive taken LSD and Psilocybin mushrooms a handful of times. I did MDMA once during my Senior Prom at high school. Ive read and watched Dr. Rick Straussman's DMT:Spirit Molecule. and Listen to the words of Terence Mckenna. Might listen to him some more before I take my three hits from the pipe.

The best advice I could give would be to not build yourself up. What I mean by that is, don't go into the trip with lots of thoughts/questions on your mind and although it may be hard, don't be really anticipated. Just relax, and know that no matter what happens in 10 minutes time you WILL return. What I find works quite well is to do some meditation for like 10 to 15 minutes before I take the hit. If thats not your thing, then just lie in the bed and relax for as long as you need. Get as comfortable and relaxed as if you were about to go to sleep.
Oh and if its your first time, weigh out 50mg. Trust if you're looking for the trip to be meaningful, you want your first time to be the full shazam.
