Just as the title says. I've had a baggie of seeds for a few months and I was wondering how long it usually takes for a seed to go bad (ungrowable). And also, is there a way to tell if they've gone bad?
From what I understand(don't take this to the bank) the older the seed gets the harder the shell gets. Need to sand it a little bit to help water get in.
Also theres a thread somewhere about bitting the seed just enough to crack it.
