 Understanding EC

1st two days went ok.
Day 3 EC 1.2 then went to 1.4.
Had to remove 1 1/2 gallons and add back 1 1/2 gallons of water to get EC down to 1.2
Day 4 went ok.
Day5 EC went to back to 1.4
Again removed 1 1/2 gallons and added back 1 1/2 gallons to return to an EC of 1.2
Why does EC keep going up?
Are my plants getting enough nutes with so much plain water being added back in?
Could I have used to muck nutes to begain with?
Using Fox Farm nutes. Mixed 4gallons of nutes with 3 1/2 gallons plain water to have 7 1/2 gallons res.

What's the EC of your plain add back water?

So far res is staying steady.
Think evaporation to be the problem.Will be watching that more.
