yeah I have yet to drink more than 1 Blue Ribbon. My grandfather drank himself with schlitz, my father drinks coors light, and I.. well I drink malty beers. I have yet to find my beer. Hell I'm even on Beer advocate.

Pabst is a fine beer, people just trash it because it's cheap.  Back in the days before the commercial yellows came out it was the most popular beer in america.

Personally i like it because it's cheap, it goes down easy, and it's great on really really hot days.  However if i was able to buy yuengling where i live it would be the only thing i drank :smile:

While i'd rather drink a "heavy" beer over a light one, light beers are absolutely great on scorching hot days.  Unlike other beer, or alcohol, light beer actually helps you hydrate somewhat due to the water content.

Haven't tried it yet. Also loves me some guiness, boddington's cream ale, anything rich really.

Though for extended drinking sessions, PBR is king. It's like you never get over-the-edge drunk on it.

On the other end of the spectrum, this local microbrew: Mac & Jacks has the most bang for the buck. Drank a "few" of those last night at a punk show and was nursing the hangover until I cracked a coors light(!) this afternoon.

the nearest distributor to me is a 10 hr round trip.  Bit far to pick up a case of beer.  If i ever visit my friends on the other side of the state it only becomes a 2 hr round trip :laugh:  When i took my girl home to pick up her cat and move some of her things back home i made sure to stock up on a few cases.  Every time i come home i always think about mailing out a case or two but never do it.  At least i get the luxury of drinking how ever much i want when i come home.

I used to love fat tire.  I think they changed their recipe or something though because i don't like it anymore.  It has this burnt taste to me that just ruins the beer.  I like a lot of their other beers though, my fav would have to be blue paddle followed by loft or birre de mars.

indeed!  Small plant will have finished a 7 day dry.  No cure, but, i'll have a decent sack waiting for me when i get back.  Still have a little nug of some of the preemie buds i snipped as well.  I was supposed to have some hash to come back to but my friends connect forgot to bring it.

I may not really like taking little breaks like this, but in the end they're awesome because when i do get to smoke i get way more lifted then normal heh :laugh:

yup, been there, going to be there again next year when i start looking for a job.  Gotsta to do what ya gotsa do i s'pose.  I probably could have brought a little with me, but it just makes me nervous to carry it with me through security.  Every time i travel with it that shit gets buried in my check in luggage.  I've had TSA's search my bag twice and they've missed my pipe and sack each time (but left me a nice note to say they went through my luggage).

the first couple of times were pretty nerve wracking honestly.  After a few times you don't really think about it.  I never travel with more then an 1/8 though, it's pretty easy to stash that.

Before coors went national it was considered to be almost a specialty beer.  My dad told me he'd bring a case home with him when he had to travel to cali.  I don't mind the orig so much, but it still has the same faults as pretty much all domestic yellows do.  It lacks body and feels almost watery going down.

all the big names taste the same to me, so i drink coors since ive actually been to the brewery in Colorado. I only drink it when im short though.


Im drinkin on some Mississippi mud tonight. MMMM Its almost as cheap as a 32 of the big name stuff too.
