I haven't read all the posts so i don't know if someone has already given my advice. It's just gonna be a pile of philosopihcal talk and you get out of it what you want.
First of all, it's important to treat nicotine as the drug that it is. People in our culture don't respect alcohol, caffeine and nicotine as drugs and that's why their abuse is so widespread.
Don't just smoke cigs for the fuck of it. At bus stops, non-smokers can wait perfectly well for the bus while an addicted smoker would think "Cigy Time!"
The more you think of how much you wanna smoke, the stronger the urge to smoke will be. Law of Attraction... Think about good things in your life and think about your goals. I highly recomend you read The Secret.
The quickest way for you to lose you addiction is to trip in a shamanic way. The Psychedelic Experience covers everything you need to know about tripping. It's a must-read for trippers.
If you don't wanna trip, then it's gonna be much harder to lose your addiction! Still possible though. If i were you, i'd go on a camping trip or something similar for at least a week. Don't bring any cigs. Go alone or bring a friend. Learn to love nature and your fellow man.
It's possible to be happy without drugs. Drugs just have great potential for philosophical insight. It's our culture of stress and slavery which causes drug-abuse. Fuck our culture. Get back to nature. Nature is perfect. Might help to think "we're all One."
O and another piece of advice, the best actually. It's so simple but you gotta spend a few mins really thinking about and accepting it. It's this. Live your life without upseting The Balance and nothing can go wrong. It may take years for you to discover the perfect Balance. But you will. And as soon as you do you'll be on Easy Street
