Burning Man 2011
    #516747 -

I was talking about this with some friends this week and one of them scored some tickets the other day.  Looks like the plan is to rent an RV in Wyoming and drive that beast out there for the week.  Who else is going to the 2011 event?  Fractal, you should go again and we'll each take 7 grams and lose it!   i can't go to burning man and not do psychedelcis.  or, I can't go to burning man and avoid psychedelics.

Take a camera, PLEASE.

I would love to go to that man, always been interested in it, but was also kinda scared I would ingest some unknown drug and end up in the structure like a wickerman :bongload:

you know what i did in english class? I came to class stoned out of my mind every day, i chugged vodka in the back of class, i put dead fish in the ceiling tiles. i put a gallon of old milk and orange juice in the file cabinet before winter vacation. i brought snakes in a tied up sweater and let them loose during class. i didnt go to school to learn, i went because i had to. i didnt care, and i didn't fucking listen to that stupid bitch. and i still don't fucking care. i tore the pages out of her books and burned them, and threw away all the books in the class, two books per day.  :twobooks:

You got a lot of time to save up.  Just buy the ticket now.  Then worry about how to get to the ride.

I don't have a problem with personal responsibility.   The only drugs i'd be doing would be the one's I made.  I may also get an ecstasy kit or two cause i would love to try that and who knows where that shit comes from.  Idk, maybe dance safe does something like that.  I know they do at the Boom festival in Portugal, which would be a blast to attend as well.  As for the camera, ya, i will take one.  But probably not my really good one since that place is like a non stop sand storm sometimes.

you can find shit loads of info, online, abut dust proofing shit, but it still gets into everything and gets everywhere

Oh, and expect to be sacrificing that security deposit on the RV, because it's going to be filthy as shit, and playa dust turns to clay when it's wet, making it practically impossible to clean

I'd really love to go but this is not the best time in life for me.
Will definitely go sometime before I die.
Anyone that's been there have any experiences that go beyond the scope of the documentaries I've seen?

Yes, and take a camera please.

How much did the tickets cost? just curious

Fuck yes Furrowed Brow. That is the mother fucking plan. Burning Man was the best time of my life. It beats my mushrooms trips, and those where mind blowing. I am going every year until I die, even if I have to give up eating food to save the money.

This time I am going to bring a journal. That is key, fellas. Still have like 500 photos to upload from last year.

Burning man is the best and happiest place on earth.

Clips on Youtube from various ones. It just seems they really got something going on up there and the videos don't give you a full picture of it.

Have you gone before?

See, that term pedo gets thrown around a lot.
Is a 16 year old guy having sex w/a 16 year old girl a pedophile?
If not, then how is a 30 year old considered a pedophile for doing the same thing?
I think y'all need to look up the definition for pedophile.

Fuck that wishful wanna-be-utopian shit.  I am saving my money for trips to Asia and Europe. The real world.

But IN reality I would go once if I had the extra money, but other trips trump this.

Of course it's happening inside your head.
