I recently discovered the pleasure of paying for albums and the hard work people put into them.
Just from little known independent artists though. Who seem to have the best music for some reason.

yeah, i would happily pay for albums from smaller independant artists, but these multi million pound recording companies arnt getting a penny out of me.

i would rather give my life savings to a crackhead, than spend £10 on a justin bieber or other pop album.
but i dont actually have any life savings yet though  only got 4 pence in the bank

Nothing new, the 50's had their girl groups like the chantels, and shirelles ect. Just marketing, the real perplexion is the demand, which I guess lies in the musical taste of preteen girls.

Anybody ever hear about all the moms that go to Bieber concerts, as bigger fans than the pre-teen girls? They can't be serious. There was a name for them, but can't recall it right now.

This is what I've been doing for a while now. I don't even really consider mainstream nonsense to be music. Mainstream stuff is good for clubbing, but that's about it. I can't imagine why anyone would listen to it for pleasure.
