So what do you recommend checking out in Berkeley (and the rest of the Bay Area), specifically between December 26 and December 30? We'll be visiting our favorite haunts like City Lights Books and places new to us like Chez Panisse. But what do you all recommend? I don't want this four days to be wasted. We're thinking about moving to a more affordable outskirt of Berkeley or Oakland eventually, but we also want to have a good time as we've not had a vacation in forever. So we want it fun, but with a local, non-touristy edge.

She knows I'm already too uptight. If anything, I need a sedative. If I was gonna do hard drugs, I'd definitely do heroin. Plus I've always loved Velvet Underground and William Burroughs.

I'm still asking for specific places in Berkeley. Do you even know anything about Berkeley?
