You turn something on like a heater and your lights go dim, sometimes blowing the breaker?
Sometimes even running my printer will cause the lights to go dim.
Electrical is shitty in the house?

I came to class stoned out of my mind every day, i chugged vodka in the back of class, i put dead fish in the ceiling tiles. i put a gallon of old milk and orange juice in the file cabinet before winter vacation. i brought snakes in a tied up sweater and let them loose during class. i didnt go to school to learn, i went because i had to. i didnt care, and i didn't fucking listen to that stupid bitch. and i still don't fucking care. i tore the pages out of her books and burned them, and threw away all the books in the class, two books per day.

My mom always told me it meant we had too much shit running on the same circuit...but shes not really an accurate source of information.
Either way, my house does it to. And lots of other peoples as well.
So, I don't think its that bad of a thing.
-------------------- Of course it's happening inside your head. Why should that mean it isn't real?

Each breaker or fuse you have is rated to support a certain load. That load is essentially the demand you put on the wiring coming from the circuit breaker.
It is not necessarily going to cause immediate harm to your house, but stressing a circuit will eventually damage your wires and whatever is plugged in. It is just a matter of time.
95% of the time installing a bigger circuit breaker is the dumbest fix people attempt. Circuit breakers are meant to prevent having too much electrical flow through your wires. If you need more juice, then you need to run a new circuit. If you don't have additional places for new circuits on your box then you need to get a box with more circuits or wire in a 2nd box.
Also, it is not uncommon for nuisance issues on the line if you have a faulty circuit breaker. Most circuit breakers are supposed to be tested on a regular basis - something that homeowners almost never do. They go bad and can get stuck in the closed position, thus not tripping when they should.
