Ok so I had a bag of FF/OF set around for a year before I used it.
I had nute burn on strains I've grown in it before and did not have this problem with before.
Could it setting for so long have been the reason I got nute burn this time ??

Not likely, that stuff in just strong from the start, how many plants of that strain did you actually grow in that soil, and how many currently that have burnt?
