 Psychedelics and language

I remember one of the first times i took mushrooms i was up in the dorms in college. We were in a really nice corner dorm on the 9th floor with a great view. Anyway, everything was peaceful and calm. I had an overwhelming desire to go out to the main lawn and start a group discussion. I didn't do it cause i was locked in that dorm room, voluntarily. but i was with some other people and we talked about a ton of shit. we were all under the influence and were all more than open to each others ideas. I always feel like the ideas flow more easily while im tripping. I have noticed that I have become pretty articulate when I speak. I can't directly connect this to my use of psychedelics by a single (or series of) incident(s). I'm curious what you all think about it. I'm sure most of you have heard of mckennas 'stoned ape' theory. I don't know if i can believe that one. I'm open to other evidence.

Very cool stuff.
I am aware of the stoned ape theory, I love theories and ideas about psychedelics.
I definitely feel that when I am under the influences of cannabis and other drugs idea flow more easy, and I have more of a desire to talk.
I tried Kava-Kava a few times- for some reason that really gets you to talk a lot. I am excited to use psychedelics, but I haven't yet so I can't really say how they influence my monkey chatter.
