I buy clones and they clip the end of the leaves so that when you put the clone in dirt it will focus energy on roots and not big leaves from mother plant.

i really need to move out to cali. I had a chance to try some medical cannabis for the first time when i was in la last july. It was some great shit, but nothing that blew my mind. you got any places for rent out there geo?  You'd be the best landlord ever.

It's funny you'd ask... I do manage some rental property, but all the units are occupied at this time.
And I hear ya on the med Mj not "blowing your mind"... most dispensaries sell decent to good product. They are in the business of making money, and if a grower puts a lot of effort into producing some killer bud, he'll just keep it for himself since he knows he can sell the higher yielding lower grade stuff for top dollar anyway, whereas the dispensary isn't going to give him much more for his extreme efforts on the super fantastic (and likely to be lower yielding/longer flowering) stuff.
The bottom line is, good weed is everywhere... you just need to help it find its way into your own pipe!

That hash was purchased by a friend who I was visiting in Berkeley, but I've witnessed collectives carrying varied grades of hash; ranging anywhere from $10 - $45 a gram on a dispensary store shelf.
